The race for town supervisor will likely be decided by absentee ballots, but in other town races, it appears Democrats came out ahead.

Joyce Becker, a Democrat and the former director of senior services for the town, was the top vote-getter in bid for two seats on the board. Democrat David VanLuven came in second with a lead of 237 votes over 3rd place finisher, Republican David Harrington. There are at least 360 absentee ballots waiting to be opened, so there is a small chance that Harrington could capture the seat. VanLuven has declared victory on his Facebook page.

Nanci Moquin, a Democrat and incumbent town clerk, easily defeated her Republican opponent Melanie Dumers by almost a 2 to 1 margin.
And Democrat Brent Meredith won his bid for reelection in the race for highway supervisor.

Democrat Alicia Roney was unopposed in the race for receiver of taxes although George Harder ran a write in campaign. Nearly 1,000 people voted for a write-in candidate, but Roney received 6,555 votes.
